The Global Food School (GFS) is a career and technical education (CTE) curriculum integration (CI) and work-based learning (WBL) project focused on modernizing the youth workforce development system.
As envisioned when complete, GFS will be a comprehensive, multi-language source for research-based ways to teach, learn, experience, and appreciate the central aspect of life that connects us all -- food.
From global warming and genetic engineering to humanitarian aid and persistent conflict, food connects to everything and everything connects through food.
To explore, participate, provide feedback, and benefit from this cooperative endeavor, please visit the official home of this workforce development initiative: http://www.globalfoodschool.org/.
This community center sub-site is designed to provide GFS participants and visitors with a comfortable space in which to debate theories, develop strategies, share best practices, and build relationships.
If you'd like to join us in tackling this challenge, please let us know how we can contact you (globalfoodschool@aol.com). GFS respects your privacy, so be assured that all personal information will be treated with the utmost care and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed.
Triggering a butterfly effect that reverberates around the world depends on people like you -- people willing to expend the energy without asking: "What's in it for me?"
Thanks for taking the time to visit!!!
We welcome your input and feedback!!!
